Healthcare supply chain management must balance the need for clinical products and services that meet steep quality targets while also delivering value within increasing budgetary constraints.  This webinar will explore new sourcing strategies that address clinical risk and complexity while achieving value and compliance with federal and provincial regulatory directives.  While focused on healthcare, this webinar is relevant to any organization operating in a high-risk environment, as it will demonstrate the role of risk in strategy development.

About the Facilitators:

Nicola Raycraft, GDM, CSCMP, MBA, is a Strategic Sourcing Manager at Medbuy.  Nicola is a passionate educator and has made deep contributions to SCMA through her advancement of the CSCMP program in Ontario, having taught all eight of the program's courses, as well as five of the SCMP program workshops.  Nicola has served on the Board for two years, and was the 2011 recipient of the CSCMP Outstanding Achievement Award.

Tricia Cooper, BScN, R.N. is Director, Hospital Relations and Clinical Services at Medbuy, where she oversees clinical engagement and customer service to the organization's member healthcare organizations across Canada.  Before joining Medbuy in 2015, Tricia had extensive experience working as a Clinical Director with another major healthcare Group Purchasing Organization, clinical experience working as an OR nurse, and was a Clinical Advisor with a leading healthcare supplier.
